Autonomie technologique et innovation ouverte paysanne

Abstract : Since 2011, Atelier Paysan is delivering training and self-building skills on farm machinery, to develop advocacy and alternatives for the technical empowerment of farmers. In this interview, a group of members collectively discusses how the cooperative deals politically and technically with digital agricultural technologies. Between the use of free software as a means of disseminating innovations and the difficulties and dependencies inherent to the use of digital technologies, this cooperative draws a statement on digital agricultural attentive to the concrete and varied integration of technologies into agricultural practices and farms.
