Le process de construction de l'esprit malade et de sa maintenance à l'ère de l'Evidence-Based Mental Medicine

Abstract : Little attention has been paid to the extension of EBM to the field of mental health (EBMM) and to the logical constraints this method imposes on the therapeutic relationship. This paper explores this question and looks more specifically at the precise nature of EBM from an epistemological and sociological perspective, analysing how it has been implemented in the field of EBMM. We will shed light on what this method facilitates and what it prevents, how it functions and what it aims to achieve, most specifically in terms of diagnosis. We will then examine its consequences on the variety of ways in which the subject is apprehended.
