Frittage de céramiques par chauffage micro-ondes

Abstract : This article deals with the microwave heating technique applied to ceramic processes: synthesis, brazing, drying, sintering, etc. Microwave/matter interactions are discussed in order to understand the peculiarities of this heating mode. The multiphysical nature of the process and the interest of modeling are discussed with a view to improving the microwave heating technique and the process in general. Different examples are treated such as drying and debinding raw ceramic parts by microwave heating. Sintering is also widely treated through the use of different but complementary techniques (multimode or monomode cavities, frequency, etc.).
