Intégration économique, financière et bancaire en zone euro : une approche cyclique
Résumé
This PhD dissertation studies the European question through the analyses of cycles by highlighting their constructions and estimates; their implications in terms of the heterogeneity of member states; and their implications in terms of economic policies. In particular, it is articulated in three chapters which respond successively to the following issues: (i) are economic and financial cycles in the euro zone converging over time and in terms of frequency? ; (ii) How are financial and economic shocks transmitted from country to country and from cycle to cycle? ; (iii) Does the banking union in Europe allow shock absorption and therefore financial integration?
Cette thèse s'attache à étudier la question européenne à travers l'étude des cycles en mettant l'accent sur leurs constructions et leurs estimations ; leurs implications en termes d'hétérogénéité des Etats-membres ; et leurs implications en termes de politiques économiques. En particulier, elle s'articule en trois chapitres qui répondent successivement aux problématiques suivantes : (i) les cycles économiques et financiers en zone euro sont-ils convergent au cours du temps et en termes de fréquences ? ; (ii) Comment les chocs financiers et économiques sont transmis d'un pays à l'autre et d'un cycle à l'autre ? ; (iii) L'union bancaire en Europe permet-elle l'absorption des chocs et donc l'intégration financière ?
